Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood
A sunny start to the day, breezy too. Some light rain showers made their appearance before the morning walk around the park. In places there is still quite a bit of ground water. In the woods I spot male blackbird, Extra. The orange around the eyes and on the beak really stood out in the sunshine.
After morning coffee, I start configuring the new laptop. I install a trial version of software that I run on the old laptop. Not more twiddling thumbs for a minute while i edit a photo. (Not that I do much editing on an image). Looking at the rain radar, The Pentlands are doing a good job of stopping rain reaching Edinburgh.
After lunch, partner and I walk up to Swanston. It is sunny and still very breezy. There are no views of the Ochils or North Berwick Law, so no chance of a view of a snow topped munro. So only the usual picture of Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood. No green showing on any just yet. Walking home, a small rain shower has made it past Caerketton, but it doesn't last very long. Sunshine for the rest of the walk.
