Warm coats on

Couldn't stay in bed this morning.  Was out walking the hound at 7.10 in gusty drizzle.  It was fairly quiet.  The school holidays have clearly indicated traffic increases noisily with parents and minivans doing school runs, sadly.

Did a bit of ironing.

Headed in the drizzle to a nearby cafe to meet friend Jane.  Had a good catch up.

Walked home in cold temperatures.  I thought my winter coat might have to be put away but not just yet.

The hound was pleased to have me back home so Mr said.  The hound certainly came to greet me.

Walk after lunch wearing winter coats.  

Risotto primavera with fresh peas, green beans and asparagus for dinner.

Now to read a bit sitting in a sunny room until time to make dinner.
