Schlumbergera – out of sync?

I think I may have posted a picture of this Christmas cactus before. We moved it into mum-in-law's care home for Christmas but the extreme heat in her room caused it to wilt and lose its flowers within a couple of days – so we brought it home.

Confusingly, as Easter approached (fittingly, some might say) it resurrected itself and started flowering again. Whether this means it will be out of sync for the rest of its life, I don't know. Anyhow, I think they are stunning plants, even if somewhat vulvate :)  

Also, as DavidD and Chops13 asked so nicely, I threw a freebie otter and panda from yesterday's outing into my extras!
