Solar Eclipse
We are just south of the total eclipse band but still a thrilling experience! It peaked at 98% at 3:31pm. It grew darker, as if a storm was moving in; the air grew noticeably chilly and quite a few birds like northern cardinals flew in for their last meal, as if dusk • Since our outdoor furniture is in the shed, we decided to sit in the car, me in the front, MrsP in the back, with windows down, solar glasses on • Earlier we enjoyed breakfast at the diner, then visited the river. A beautiful day with clear blue skies and 60 degree weather!! Mountain-sized snowbanks are the only remnants of last Wednesday’s snowstorm :) • Peace & Love
