Bordeaux

Today we took the tram into Bordeaux and spent our time exploring the streets of the central area of the city with all its beautiful architecture and parks. In particular we enjoyed the Jardin Public where we sat in the sunshine and ate lunch, and visited an exhibition of medical and other plants.

Later we visited the Palais de Thé shop to sample some teas and then enjoyed a drink in the late afternoon sunshine in one of the street cafes.

Tonight the rain is pouring outside - perhaps preparing us for our return to the UK.
