COCK LINNET

I spotted a small flock of linnets while I was out and about this afternoon. Admittedly, I didn't realise they were linnets until I uploaded the photos to the big screen.

I don't know whether the fearsome creature in the extra is successful in keeping the starlings away from the bins outside a nearby restaurant, but it made me do a momentary double-take.
