Rain was forecast for the morning with the possibility of a drier afternoon. I drove to Kendal for my first grocery shop of the week. 

Later I walked along to the garden centre. There’s a new outdoor display feature . . . a slate bridge for the slate sheep they sell. Bought a packet of flower seeds. The packaging is aimed at children so I thought I might be able to grow them and they were 50p  cheaper than the adult version for the same number of seeds :-)
