Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Really?

This morning's temperature at 11.30. it didn't feel this warm but was certainly better than the last few days. It didn't last though as the wind got up. Storm Katherine has been blowing us around quite a bit today.
Those who are fairly local may recognise my extra today. We headed out to Whitmuir for a look round Quercus plants and some lunch. I saw my first lambs of this year too, I did feel sorry for them. It was the sheep who looked most miserable though. Their fleeces clearly well soaked and very many of them muddy too. Unless there is a new breed of grey sheep I've not seen before, they'll take some amount of rain to come clean again .
