Follie à deux

I have had a quite a day today after a busy week. I made some butternut squash soup in the morning and then in the afternoon went to an early ringing practice with the ringers from York Minster. This was followed by the mandolin and accordion concert which was excellent. Appropriately, they started the concert with two pieces from the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. The two instruments really work well together and this is the third time that this local Dutch couple have come to play in the church. They so much like the acoustics that they record their CDs here.
