Amongst the plateaux

Amongst the plateaux of the smoke bush, I found this little fella.

I've never seen a spider like it before, it has a long oddly shaped and coloured body.

I was putting the washing out, and disturbed him.

Here he's making a new home, amongst the dizzy heights and beautiful colours.

At least it's not in my washing!
