Escape

Merlin’s not at all impressed by the noisy vacuum cleaner. Today he protest by sitting on the sofa. Eventually he fell asleep.

I was working today. Andy and the heating engineer spent time trying to resolve the new thermostat units that were installed with the new boiler. We have one downstairs and another upstairs and they are not working correctly. Finally they managed to at least get us to a situation where the heating was not on uncontrolled upstairs. A new unit has been ordered as apparently the two we have are incompatible.

Grateful:
- To have a much cooler upstairs of the house in time for bed.
- To discover the beetroot seeds in the ‘greenhouse’ have germinated.
- To walk at dusk in the village and wind down from the day.
