Easter Sunday

Backblip for 31/3.  Clocks forward this morning and although I was up and about I was still on the last minute as usual!  The church looked stunning with masses of flowers donated by the local garden centre (more on extras). Our church choir sang an Easter introit which was well received, then after the service some of us missed out on Bucks Fizz and bacon sandwiches as we dashed off to Bingley to sing at the Easter "Eggstravaganza".  All went well apart from a medley which included the song "Mrs Robinson".  We were supposed to be singing harmony on the choruses and the tune on the verses.  It all went a bit pear-shaped on the harmony side, but at least on the videos it doesn't sound that bad! I couldn't hear anything much as I had all the men behind me!  At this Thursday's choir session we worked out that there were probably around 5 different versions being sung at the same time, haha!  We thought the medley might be dropped, but it is staying in our set lists apparently. We'll get it right eventually! :-0))
