wildflower meadow

I was visiting a friend this afternoon and took a 3 mile detour on the way there (on foot) to photograph this meadow. No picnics allowed here though - a sign asks passers by to stay off the field. I chose this shot with Windermere in the background for today's blip.

Another pair of trousers for the wash - mucky knees again. Too much crawling around the countryside.
