All Fools Day
The RAF’s Birthday!!
Early start for the ‘Rachel Row’, not as hard going as usual, couple of hangovers I suspect, thoroughly enjoyable though. The sea was like glass, gentle breeze, warm weather, positively balmy, what’s no to enjoy.
The second row was slightly more arduous, four of us to row the GRP gig whilst the two five man crews bagged the lighter wooden ones, still a good row though.
A hot cross bun and coffee in the sun whilst we labelled the oar sets before heading home in the inevitable rain.
I arrived home to cook what should have been an Easter family dinner but I could sense something not quite right. Mrs S not well and in bed with what I suspect is a bug from work so dinner with Sam who is coming down with something as well.
Looks like just the boys for chocolate this evening then!
