The Distant Matterhorn …

… through a col above Lac Tanay from our high point on today’s hike to the snow line (extra). I’ve done this hike so many times in the summer and never noticed the Matterhorn before. We were so lucky to see lots of chamois, an eagle and a bearded vulture. A fabulous day out.
