The Tree On The 13th

Much to our surprise after heavy overnight rain the course was open this morning, though we probably needed wellies rather than golf shoes.

My favourite tree on the course at the 13th was looking rather splendid in the unexpected sunshine. Even more unexpected was that this hole saw my 4th par in a row. I hit my ball, just to the left of the tree, to just off the green on the left and managed to two putt. Even more surprisingly, I got another par and a birdie over the remaining holes to post my best score in ages.

I had to have a lie down this afternoon!
