Red Sky in the Morning……..

….,….. Shepherd’s warning?……. The dawn sky was absolutely, unbelievably amazing this morning. Deep shades of red, blood red mingled with black. I would have expected a dramatic change in the weather to come with torrential downpours…… but no…. A damp squib of a day. A mere sprinkle of moisture. Just enough to dampen the cats’ furry coats. Very disappointing. However apart from my early walk I confined myself to the house nursing a very annoying cough. I am about to go out into the garden to round up the cats. There are some birds, blackbirds out there making a racket. I suspect the cats are sitting pulling faces at them. I will go and sort them out!
