Waiting……..

By this morning, still in the grip of this virus, I started to have a bout of Cabin Fever. The need for a change of scenery. So I made a quick trip to the lake at the Taylor Dam. It is one of my Happy Places. There, sitting on some debris in the lake, was the resident shag…. (cormorant)….It was taking some time out and perhaps waiting for one of the enormous goldfish, fishy trespassers, to swim by within easy reach. It was quite relaxed and interacting peacefully with the resident black swans. It is a peaceful, tranquil spot despite the brisk northwest breeze ruffling the waters of the lake.
