A dolmen walk

Today we walked on a trail taking in various neolithic sites and encountered five dolmens in various states of preservation. The walk involved quite a lot of climbing, 550 metres in all. it was also a little longer than usual at nearly 14 kilometres and took us five and a half hours. It was excellent, walking weather, sunny for most of the day with the temperature around 20 degrees. There were 10 of us which is just about the right number for such an excursion, plenty of opportunities to chat but not so large a group so that it becomes like herding cats!
