Boardwalk to Periac

We set off first thing for a short break in an Airbnb on one of the lakes at the coast. There used to be a lot of salt pans but now Periac is just a sleepy little village. We had coffee and then drove on to Bages, another pretty fishing village on a promontory above the lake for lunch. I had salt cod with a mushroom and balsamic sauce with pureed potatoes and Mrs TT had linguine and gambas. Both dishes were excellent. We then found our comfortable Airbnb next to the village square.
