Easter at the Orchard

What a super buzz of conversation between adults and laughter of children during the Easter at the Orchard community event. I snapped this shot while we were setting up as I knew there would be no time to take any other photos once people started to arrive. C and I were in charge of the breakfast rolls and we fired bacon and sausages from before 12 noon until after 2.30. I think it might be a while before I next fancy a bacon buttie. I only ate one myself but between us, C and I produced over 80 filled rolls!
I was only just back home when one of the cousins and his partner called to see us. We had a lovely chat over a cuppa and that hour sitting down revived me enough to complete another couple of jobs before relaxing later in the evening. Only two more days before we set off for Glasgow and there’s still a lot to be done.
