Little Did She Know...

..her day would not be all that sunny and bright.. 

What a beautiful morning; it started out so well... looked so promising...sunshine to snooze in, birds to watch as they flitted about ...a perfect day for a cat...but, alas, April Fool! It was not...It was "Going to the Vet Day"!

Drat! Stuffed into that cat carrier again and driven to the vet clinic where, this time, she was taken to a different examination room to wait her turn...a room which had a huge window that overlooked the outdoor Doggy Day Care play area!  All very nice to look out and see dogs playing... but hmmm, it seems the dogs could look in too? Whose idea was that? A trip to the vet is bad enough, but an audience of dogs watching the whole thing?  

One dog in particular was more interested in Maggie than in his playmates..and continued to stand there barking at her until the vet finally arrived, needle in hand....

Needle? This was definitely not the day Maggie had envisioned...Could it get any worse?  Oh, yes,..it could...The weigh in... that always goes wrong...and it did...again, ending with that dreaded word "diet"....

So much for April 1.. she had such high hopes...
