Band on the water

For years, when playing golf on Sundays, we could hear a live band at the bottom of the course, near the nearby C&O canal and Riley's lock.  I've always wondered who the musicians were: the style and era of the music was never quite the same.

Today, I decided to drive around the course and down to the water to check it out. Turns out it's a bunch of musicians from all sorts of different local bands, who get together to jam it out just for the fun of it. They've had as many as 30 musicians at a time show up. They have their own FB page to help coordinate their activities. I stay a bit to listen to the music and talk to the musicians: fun bunch! And one mystery solved for me :))
