Easter Sunday
I made a trip to the Petersfield Physic Garden this morning. It’s somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for a long time. It’s designed in the style of a seventeenth century garden and, although very small, is a delight. It’s tucked away in a small space behind the high street and filled with beautiful design features, decorative, and of course medicinal, plants. I’ll try to return later in the year when more plants are growing.
This evening I’ve been reading my newly acquired book on composting written by Kate Flood. It’s excellent - jam packed with useful information, written in an accessible style with lots of instructive pictures. I can already understand ways I can improve my composting.
Grateful:
- To finally visit the physic garden and for the peace and inspiration I found there.
- For warm sunshine - it felt like spring (although this evening we have heavy rain, thunder and lightning!).
- For a friendly message from my brother in law, including a video of the vintage water chute at Wicksted Park (featured in my blips a few weeks ago) in action!
- For a delicious Easter meal at home this evening.
