Washing Up

This is my washing up bag after a paint-filled Creation Station kung-fu inspired session! LOTS of washing up... I've got it all done though. Just. Split between sink, dishwasher and washing machine. It's drying out on the heated bathroom floor now! Lots of fab painting too, some kids drew around themselves in various kung fu poses and then painted their outlines, others painted pictures of their favourite Kung Fu Panda characters. And between a few tent pegs and the paint trays filled with paint we managed to not lose any paintings to the wind!

Bear "helped" me prep my kit this morning by frightening himself by nearly falling off a chair, then falling asleep as he nursed while recovering. Which meant he was still asleep when Steve and Bean got home from church, and when I left, but it sounds like they had a pretty good afternoon! Of course the boys wanted cuddles when I got back and it got me a bit fed up that I was going to miss my last opportunity to visit a local gallery during the arts trail this year because of the cuddles and grumps.

But while I was starting to sort my kit out again I read something that rang true.

"I may not have gone where I intended to go,
But I think I've ended up where I'm meant to be.

Sounds about right really...
