A LITTLE PRIVACY PLEASE!

At the local pond, this little lovely was busy bathing - beating her wings on the water and ruffling her feathers. Then, with great body contortion, she groomed and smoothed each section with her bill. I chose this shot because of the look on her face. It says, "Geez! Could you please put that camera away until I'm finished?" It's unusual to see a duck's tail spread into a fan unless they're preparing to land from flight. (A better shot of the fanned tail is on Flickr. It's probably a better picture, but the 'face shot' won out for my blip today.)
