Reflections in a Tuba

Today was the Twin Cities Jazz Festival in St Paul, MN. This is a highly anticipated event for us every summer. The first group we heard was the Brio Brass Big Band playing on a stage in front of the St Paul Union Depot. I am quite happy about this shot. Look here to see this man playing his tuba. Notice the reflection in the bell of the tuba. This is a crop of the photo. My blip photo is a further crop. You can see other band members sitting in front of him, then people in the audience and then the buildings of St Paul.

We did a lot of walking among the buildings in this photo, moving between three stages, our hotel and two clubs to try and hear all of the music possible. Great weather, great company, great music and a fantastic city made for a terrific festival (and sore feet).
