Inchkeith Island
The last day of a working week.. A bright start after a very damp night. And just to make sure, there are a couple of heavy showers in the morning. I was optimistic that that was the end of the rain. The start of the lunchtime walk was dry. However, less than 500m from home, a heavy hail and rain shower appeared. I walked across the park and got soaked.
The afternoon at work was spent drying out. One last rain shower, then sunshine. A nice afternoon walk up the Braid Hills. Not terribly warm, but better than the dismal weather we have had recently. Loads of puddles and muddy patches which require careful navigation. Views locally are very good, but further afield north and east, not much to see. There is a nice view of Inchkeith Island in the Firth of Forth. Looking south, Extra, shows snow on the Border Hills.
