Knitting Group mend harbour wall....

Volunteers at North Berwick Harbour trust met today to patch the storm damaged harbour wall with a giant knitted patchwork blanket.  The "repair" 'is intended as an April Fools day joke but with a serious message.
It aims to keep the harbour situation in the public eye and to raise money through crowd funding via .......justgiving.com/crowdfunding/northberwickharbour
The knitted sections will eventually be made into blankets to be donated to charity.  The knitted blanket is now located at an accessible area of the harbour with further information on posters with QR code.  It's a great cause and a wonderful initiative by the local group of knitters with the Yarn Cafe which has already participated in several local community projects.
