Not as good as The Black Horse but any port in a storm.
The men at the bar talk of nothing but shooting, football and meat!
We live in farming country.
It is a place where the younger folk go with their kids and there is a big screen and a dart board.
Still, some of The Black Horse clientele go there so it’s a chance to catch with people we don’t see as much since the pub closed.
We spent most of the day at the boat, Frank cleaned the outside and I ‘despidered’ it (humanely) and cleaned the galley and the bathroom.
We had ordered a vegan thali takeaway for tonight from Kamlesh, the guy who comes all the way from Bradford. It was delicious and there was rice pudding included :-b
Bella was feeling better this morning and had eaten her food sometime during the night.
It is quite worrying about the residues of farm animal medication eg antibiotics, worming meds and hormones in droppings but also these residues are in the meat and milk from animals and also in our waterways from farm run off. It is causing no end of damage to the environment, fish, other animals and humans! We’ve seen it in the news over the last few days. I’ve seen the brown water from the farm running into the canal where our boat is moored.
I worry for children growing up these days as with modern farming, animals have to be given these medications to prevent infections.

Anyway, time for a bit of telly now before bed.
Goodnight :-) X
