The things you see in the light

We had an afternoon event at work today which went well and luckily I didn't have to do much in the way of sorting it this time.  I headed straight into town for swords and it was the first time that it was actually fully light when I arrived.  I noticed that there was a cricket ground that I hadn't seen before, a spire on the top of the hall where the club meets and it meant I got to take a photo of one of the murals by the trian and bus station.  Was tempted to blip the polis arresting someone outside the station, but decided this was a safer bet.

Swords was actually daggers again tonight and we had a good class trying to figure out how to make dagger defences and counter attacks actually work.  (The key being, definitley don't ever try any of them in a real knife fight - just run!). Also, daggers are much easier to blip than swords. I think I finally had my ISO up high enough to actually get some semi-okay-very-grainy pictures.

Also, apologies for not stopping by other journals to comment much over the last few months.  I've not really been in the head space to and have been minimising non-essential screen time!
