Green, green moss

I read that February was the wettest since records were started.  It certainly has made for a particularly green countryside, not least all the mosses.  I rather liked this one with the sun shining on it.
The weatherman has been forecasting rain each day for the last 3 days  and it has not happened but he was right yesterday afternoon and last night, l rather enjoyed curling up on the sofa/bed listening to the sound on the windows and roof but then l was not here in February to get thoroughly fed up with  it then.
