Lemon Carpet
We woke to a bright and dry morning - a bit of a surprise as we knew a lot of rain was forecast. And so we were out early with Merlin for his walk, enjoying the blackthorn blossom, bird song, and this carpet of primroses.
The rain soon descended and continued all day so it’s been a mainly indoors day keeping warm in front of the fire doing computer based activities.
Grateful:
- To complete a short online introduction to social and therapeutic horticulture.
- To pause to watch the rain and find its gentle rhythm soothing.
- To see the broken stem of blueberry bush I planted earlier in the year has two tiny buds on it. It is from one of three blueberry bushes I inherited on my most recently acquired allotment plot.
