Cherry Blossoms

We got home last night around 8:00 pm. It was good to see Millie. Her back legs are getting fragile. Not sure how many more days she will be with us. Just wish she’d go on her own. Too hard the other way…. Hubby had his GP appointment today. The doc was pleased with his blood work. Like me, he appears to be healthy. As we left to go shopping, I stopped to get a few photos of the cherry trees that line our neighborhood entry. Their color is starting to fade but they are still gorgeous. Will try to include a view of the trees in an extra. Our son’s side of the neighborhood has the same look. I was so happy we hadn’t missed seeing them this year. We picked up meds, shopped the wine aisles, found some great sales at the grocery stores and some not so great prices. We grabbed a quick burger before food shopping. We’ll have roasted chicken for dinner. We needed something easy as my legs have had it with all the concrete floors I’ve traveled today. My sister and BIL stopped by to pick up the Kindle case left in our car. The mechanic thinks he found the truck’s problem but it cannot be repaired until mid-May. They are truck shopping. Hubby and I are in for the night. We have two celebrations today. It is the Feast of the Annunciation and our state’s birthday. We will honor both at home with prayers of thanksgiving and pie in the evening. Wishing you a good night. Thanks for your visit. Stay safe. “Like cherry blossoms, our lives may be brief, but our impact can be profound. Let us make each moment count.” – Unknown
