My first violet

It’s hiding under the sedum, but I spotted it and managed to get  a blip. Another day spent mostly on gardening  - getting all my pots tidied up and ready for summer bedding plants, which I will get soon. It was amazingly warm in the garden when the sun was out. Listened to several episodes of the Empire history podcast - which is really interesting and well done. Fascinating to learn about the Ottoman empire, and to discover how incredibly unimportant England was in the 15th and 16th centuries - in contrast to what we are taught at school.
