Looking Forward To Seeing You . . . Golden Smog

This morning was an easy drive through to Lake Heron Station.  It is in a wide valley with high bare hills rising up on either side. The Shephards had some Merinos in the yards so they could check their feet. If they had feet in poor condition they would be shawn and put on the stock truck for a one way trip to you know where.  The owner took us into the wool shed and told us the properties history and showed us a fleece of incredibly soft Merino wool. They are another farm whose wool is contracted to Icebreaker. Technophobe asked me to look out for the purple and black sheep that made her icebreaker clothing. I didn't see them today.
We had another fabulous lunch at the homestead. 
The afternoon was rockin and rolling up and down farm tracks on Mt Sommers Station.
Tonight we are in Fairley in a B n B on a deer farm.  I will add more detail tomorrow because it is late after another lovely dinner and great conversation. 275 kms
