London Hong Kong Dragon Boat Race

I watched a bit of dragon boat racing in the London Regatta Centre in Royal Albert in Docklands this afternoon. I think I spent more time though, watching the planes arrive/take off from London City Airport which is opposite, just over the water. The very ugly Tate & Lyle sugar refinery is right behind it too.

I had a good think and decided to buy a new camera instead of paying for expensive repairs, especially as my broken one was very well used, so there's bound to be more problems with it soon. I went for the same bridge camera, but the latest model and easy to pack in my bag too, so very much looking forward to it's arrival (and will put the strap around my neck at all times to avoid another clumsy woman disaster!)

Sorry about this photo, it's actually quite awful! It reminds me of an old, poor quality photo from the 60s/70s for some reason!
