Yet another photo of Battersea Power Station!

Today I woke up to the sound of pouring rain, so was delighted when the sky cleared to a beautiful bright blue with spectacular clouds, so hurriedly did the housework, and got out the house to make the most of the day!

Once again. I arrived at Charing Cross not really knowing where I wanted to go again..and decided to see where my legs would take me!

I ended up back on the South Bank, but decided to go the other way today and walk towards Battersea (a walk I hadn't done before). I walked (and walked!), stopping to go into the Garden Museum next to Lambeth Palace (I walked out again as it was £5 and I was feeling rather tight!) and continued to walk along the Thames Path. I walked up to Battersea Power Station..I wish I could have got closer, but Security had their eye on me, so took this photo and carried on walking to Battersea Park. I had a wander around in the lovely sunshine, then caught the bus to Hyde Park Corner and walked back to Charing Cross (Iced Cappuccino and greedy cake on the way..well I had walked a mile or two!)
