Cauldron Snout and Goldsworthy
We weighed up the forecast and decided to go over to Cow Green, stopping to look at the Goldsworthy sheepfold and meeting a beautiful hare on our way.
There was snow on the hills and a bitter, strong wind but we scrambled down to the bottom of the longest waterfall in the UK and eventually got a good soaking on our way back. It led to some discussion about why isn’t a river a waterfall!
