Tourist Route, France

Last night's service was lovely, especially when everyone lit their candles and the church just glowed with light.

First thing this morning it was time to pack the car again and grab breakfast on the way. The sun was shining as we returned to Taize for the morning communion service followed by a short introduction to the community by one of the volunteers and an introductory film, which was very interesting. We then said goodbye to Taize and started the journey home. It has been a good experience this weekend and all that we hoped for, this was the main purpose of this week.

We took the tourist route to Macon and were rewarded by a lovely view of this Chateau de Berze le Chatel. Then the motorway back to Geneva, with some lovely views through the mountains ... considerably quicker than our journey over the top the other day! We have now found our hotel for the next two nights ... finding food on a Sunday might be more of a problem as the restaurant here is not open at the weekend!

UPDATE
We nipped into Switzerland for an evening meal, as you do. We went down on to the shore of the lake and as the sky was clear there was a wonderful view of Mt Blanc in the distance.
