Jelly and Ice Cream?

I was trying for "gothic and ghostly" but it's tricky to do that when, just the other side of that ivy, there's a children's birthday party in full swing.

This was one of the frocks I had to buy in Italy because of the heat and humidity. It's one of the few occasions where I've been thankful for not being over-burdened in the chesticle department.

Given the on going shiteness of our "summer" I sadly doubt it'll see the light of day again this year.

Just after I clicked the shutter for last shot, I heard my neighbour shout "anyone want jelly and ice cream?" Cue lots of excited small people shouting "yes" and one 41 year old wondering if it'd be rude to stick my head over the wall and ask if there was any jelly and ice cream going spare.
