Mutton

Not done a leg/shoe blip for ages and ages so I thought it was high time for another one.

Bought these silly shoes today. They match an equally silly frock that I bought in the sale.

I tried both on and cast a critical eye over my various reflections until I was reassured that I wasn't showing any wrinkly/wobbly/saggy bits and took them to the till, whereupon the young assistant said:

"ooh, that's a lovely dress. You'll stand out in that!" (code for: "Everyone will be sniggering and pointing when they see you")

"Oh, and *matching* shoes to0....." (code for: "does this woman have *no* idea?!")

Worst case scenario, I feel/look daft, people snigger, they go in a charity bag.
