Painswick
A few of us in the Northleach church choir spent the day over in Painswick learning and then singing Stainer's "Crucifixion" which is a beautiful and moving piece. It was a great day and we learnt a lot about singing techniques. I got home just after 6.00pm and am totally exhausted.
The churchyard at Painswick is famous for the 99 yew trees in it, some of which can be glimpsed in my main blip through the lychgate and more clearly in the extra, looking back towards the lychgate.
