3 Trigs Therapy
Just as I was settling down with my knitting Mr C announced that going out to bag an easy trig would be more conducive to my recovery so rather reluctantly I complied.
We drove over to near Bolam Lake to walk to Shafto Crags which was not at all strenuous, apart from the battle against the gale force wind. He said as we were near Great Bavington we could drive on a bit and have an easy stroll up a minor road to another trig. There was a sign in the hamlet saying poet Kathleen Raine had lived there during WW1. To complete the trio we stopped by a pile of manure for the short climb to Whitehill near Kirkwhelpington.
Apart from a pull in a muscle behind my knee and the chest stitches hurting, I feel fine.
Ella is home, very tired after leaving Les Menuires in the middle of the night for the early flight home, with a burnt nose - they had sun on the last day skiing. I’m happy to report she loved skiing.
NOW, 16,000 steps later, I’m going to have a cup of tea and do my knitting!
