Marsh Marigolds ( Caltha palustris )

Solace Day 1.

We got a good start on the drive down to the marina to start our week on Solace.  Traffic was heavy but fortunately not reduced to the stop start situation we so commonly encounter when travelling that route.

On arrival the first job is to get the gear on board, this entails a few trips along the jetty/pontoon with a trolley.  On the walk I passed a clump of Marsh Marigold in full flower.  The rest weren't open yet so rather than my usual shot of the marina I decided on a shot of them as the blip.
