Snakeshead

My annual blip of Snakeshead Fritillary flowers at the back of the front garden. I’m sure there are more of them this year.

The garden looks a mess at the moment. Plants are pruned back. I’m half way with the mulching (more was delivered this morning). To allow S to power wash the brick paviours and flags I’ve moved pots, containers and bags onto the back lawn. The lawn is saturated with recent rain and the jets of water from the power wash. And sand grains are blown everywhere, including leaves and the few flowers. S won’t be able to complete the job until we have days of decent dry weather. Patience is definitely a virtue.,
