Giant stick insect?

I had to step over it on my run today (plus quite a lot more fallen trees) and thought it looked as if it was about to walk away.
It was mainly sunny but with a strong, cold wind - at least it dried another load of washing.
The run was short, my knee was a bit sore but it improved and has been fine since.
A lot of time today was sent getting the interview process set up and sending out requests for references. I'm getting there but it is still to be finalised.
I've also had Sunday's service to do - and the same applies to that.
I did take some time out to do some craftwork, too.
