Demolishing da Anderson

Back to gales, raining and dull this morning.  Eased off as the day went on, ended up a dry and sunny afternoon.  Still dry this evening, still gales.

Up early, a morning puttering about the house.  Finally got out walkies with Sammy, stayed mostly dry.   Popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Met friends in the afternoon and headed to the cinema.  We watched 'Drive-Away Dolls', it was hilarious, but some got up and left 20 mins in.  A quiet evening at home, more walkies, then an early night. 

On my way home, I took a detour to go have a look at the work at the old Anderson High School. They've finally started the demolition work, getting rid of the old 1970s blocks, but keeping the original parts of the old institute and two hostels.  The grounds will probably become a housing development.  I went to high school here, 1996/97, hated the place.  Looking towards the old Anderson Institute, Gressy Loan, Lerwick.
