Lake Geneva
The wonderful thing about this lake is the promenade around most of it. You can just walk and walk and walk and so we did.
The view of snow capped mountains didn’t change much - just the shape of their summit. The lake was so glossy it was simply beautiful.
Lots of beautiful flower beds, and decorated jetties and bays. No one was in or on the water and even the number of people walking wasn’t huge.
After walking our feet off, we caught a tram back the way we came and beyond, to visit yet more towns and discovered that there were crowds somewhere; just not everywhere.
We caught a funicular up and down to get some height and waited for the sun to set. It was wonderful. Back down, we hunted for some food and called it a day.
