Fritillaria
We visited the National Trust property, Batemans (home of Rudyard Kipling). Spring flowers were everywhere, including the elegant fritillaria. They were bobbing about in the long grass.
After our visit, we took Jak, and his pent up excitement, back to the beach for a final run around. He found a stone, which engrossed him so much that he didn't realise he was backing into the sea, much to our amusement. Suddenly a large wave soaked him and we decided we had better move him and his precious stone away before he was pulled into the strong current.
